Thanks for another great Halloween!

Spirits on Sproat wishes to thank everyone who visited our haunt as well as all the wonderful people who helped in our display this year, including Larry, Mark, Emma, Chris, Andrew and Mike. We had a terrific Halloween and we couldn't have done it without all your help.

We'll be back bigger and better than ever in 2011. See you next October!

"Count Rockula" performs at OLHMS

"Count Rockula" (better known to Spirits on Sproat visitors as Gruesome Blue unmasked) performed a piano solo last Wednesday at Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School's Fall Concert. Check out the video below.

Oak Lawn band Monk 9 to perform at Spirits on Sproat on Oct. 29

Acclaimed Oak Lawn-based band Monk 9 is scheduled to play a 20- to 30-minute outdoor set of original and cover songs at the Spirits on Sproat Halloween yard display on Friday, Oct. 29 at 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Come see our display and enjoy an exciting live performance by one of the area's best local acts--a two-piece costumed band that definitely knows how to rock.

We're closed tonight, but open again tomorrow

Spirits on Sproat will not be operating tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 27, but we'll be open again tomorrow, every evening from Thursday through Sunday, with live scarers each night!  Here is our remaining schedule:

Oct. 28: 7-10 p.m.
Oct. 29: 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Oct. 30: 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Oct. 31: 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.

Spirits on Sproat open Monday, Oct. 25

We were essentially rained out on Sunday, but as a rain makeup Spirits on Sproat will be open for a special previously unannounced date on Monday, Oct. 25 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. We will not have live scarers, but feel free to visit our display!

Spirits on Sproat open Tuesday, Oct. 19

Spirits on Sproat will operate from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19 for a special "mid-week" date that was previously unannounced on our schedule. We will have live scarers during a portion of this two-hour special time. Stop by (if you dare!).
